Nice place to stay between downtown Oakland and the airport
- What did you like most?Location is easy and it's right off the freeway. The rooms facing the road can have traffic noise, but I kept the fan running all night. The room was pleasant and clean, there was minimal wear/tear in the room, it has a microwave and small fridge. TV was adequate. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower had great pressure. The breakfast was fine, it had hot options with eggs, links, oatmeal and make your own waffles. There was a variety of bagels, pastries, yogurt and fruit options were bananas and apples. The coffee was not terrible, which is nice. I did enjoy that there was seating outside to view the water. The is a filtered water dispenser downstairs and ice machines on each floor.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Parking is no longer free and they charge $17/vehicle. I wish they had a soap dispenser vs the bar soap, since the shower has the shampoo & conditioner dispensers. Lotion is not provided.

- Was there anything you didn't like?Hi, Not a four-star in the least. The night I arrived, the staff greeted me with the least concern, "As if" I was a bother. It was still early to order food from the kitchen (which I planned), and I was told the staff had left early. They suggested DoorDash. After a long flight and no food, I was disappointed and went to bed hungry. Again, this conversation took place because I was an inconvenience. The show didn't have a rack to put my soap or hair products, or towel. It was very awkward for me to hold everything during the process. I told the front staff on my way out to a meeting the next morning, and again, the morning staff was less than friendly. I don't know if the staff is unhappy with the company, and it shows in their delivery, but I won't stay there again.
